I have only had rabbit dogs for about 5 years and all I know about pedigrees and blood lines is what I have read on the internet. I started off with grade dogs, but last year I bought a little gyp that is out of Bull Mountian's Lucy and Shiloh's Jim Dandy. I know Shiloh's Jim Dandy came out of two great dogs that ran in the ARHA and she also has Boggy Hollar all through her pedigree. I really like this little dog and think I want to build my kennel off of her. If anyone has any info on her sire/dam or any suggestions on the direction I should look for a male that would compliment her breeding i would appreciate the input.

We had to put Bad News down Sunday night. He got into some poison while on a cast Saturday.The poison hit his nervious system and he started having seizures. We kept him at the vet all day Saturday and then moved him to Mississippi State University Veterinarian hospital Saturday afternoon. The vets tried to save him, but when the poison settled in his central nervious system, it paralized his diaphragm. He was put on oxygen and on a ventilator, but the damage was irreversable. We decided that we didn't want him to suffer any longer, so we put him to rest. We want to thank Dr. J. D. Harris in alabama and Dr. owens at Ms State University for their work and dedication trying to save Bad News. We also want to thank everyone who called and for their prayers.
